Representative Don Vruwink, who currently represents the 43rd Assembly District, and is running for the 33rd in the upcoming election, made a special visit to his office in Madison today to receive recognition from the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters. The “Conservation Champion” award is given to legislators who received a score of 100% on their 2021-22 Conservation Scorecard. The scorecard is based on a review of how the representative voted last session on bills which protect Wisconsin’s air, water, land, and freedom to vote.
“I am proud to have received a score of 100% on the Conservation Scorecard,” Representative Vruwink stated. “Voters elected me to be a champion for our environment and democracy – and I’ve kept my promises. I will continue to fight for a cleaner, healthier future for all in our state.”
